Blizzard/Fire Ball Sorceress

The Blizzard/Fireball Sorceress (Blizzballer) is a dual-element build that combines cold and fire damage to handle all enemy types. Blizzard provides massive area cold damage while Fireball handles cold immune enemies. This versatile build excels at magic find runs. First thing to do is allocate 1 point in the following Skills: Ice Bolt, Frost Bolt, Cold Mastery, Meteor, Fire Mastery, Teleport, Static Field, Warmth, Energy Shield, Frozen Armor and Chilling Armor. After this max out the following Skills: Blizzard, Ice Blast, Glacial Spike, Fire Ball. With your Extra points, max out your Blizzard first and then Fire Bolt.

When it comes to your Attributes, start with acquiring a HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Put those in your inventory and then add Strength, enough to wear your gear. If you want to have Max Block, add some Dexterity. Energy is not necessary depending on gear choices, the rest of your points should go into Vitality.

Best Weapon to max out your Cold Damage is Death's Fathom but a lot of people also go for a Heart of the Oak because of the High Faster Cast Rate, Bonus Skills and Resistances. Eschuta's Temper is also a great option depending on preference. Shield wise, you will need a Spirit Monarch, the added skills, resistances and mana is unparalleled. When it comes to your Armor, A Chains of Honor in a Dusk Shroud Base is the Best in Slot, you can also opt for a Ormus with +3 Blizzard Skills and 15% Cold Damage but it will leave you with a lot less Resistances. Helmet, you will want to get a Shako or you can also opt for a Nightwing's Veil. For Gloves, you will want Magefist or you can also get a Frostburn to boost your mana. For the Belt, we suggest an Arachnid Mesh or a Tal Rasha Belt. When it comes to the Boots you have several options, War Travelers if you want more Magic Find, Crafted Boots wiht 30% Faster Run/Walk and 5% Max Mana as well as some other bonuses. Rings, Stone of Jordans work very well as they increase your mana pool. You can also go for Faster Cast Rate Ring with various bonuses. Amulet you can opt for a Mara's Kaleidoscope for more Resistances or a Tal Rasha Amulet. You can also go for a 2 skills 20 Faster Cast Rate Crafted Amulet.

For your inventory, we usually go for Skill Charms, in this case Cold with Life or 12% Faster Hit Recovery. Small Charms with 7% Magic Find and Resistances or Life and Resistances.

Mercenary wise, you will need an Infinity for Weapon in a Thresher Base. For the Helmet, best choice is Vampire Gaze or Andariel's Visage. Armor you will want an Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude. Holy Freeze Aura is usually the go to option in terms of type of Merc.
