Fireball/Nova Sorceress

The Fireball/Nova Sorceress is a challenging dual-element build that combines the long-range precision of Fireball with the close-range area devastation of Nova. This hybrid offers a unique playstyle that alternates between ranged fire combat and aggressive lightning "berserker mage" tactics. While demanding to master, it provides excellent versatility and can handle all enemy types with dramatically different combat approaches. First start by adding 1 skill point to the following skills: Meteor, Warmth, Charged Bolt, Static Field, Lightning Mastery, Static Field, Teleport, Energy Shield, Telekinesis and Frozen Armor. Next max out the following skills: Fireball, Fire Bolt, Nova and Fire Mastery.

When it comes to Attributes, start by acquiring HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Then you can add Strength as much as needed to wear all your gear, add no Dexterity, add about 150 points into Vitality and the rest into Energy.

When it comes to your Weapon, the Best In Slot is Heart of the Oak as it will add bonus skills to both skill tree. Shield wise, a Spirit Monarch is going to be the best option, going towards a 112 mana variant is also encouraged. Armor wise, a Chains of Honor or an Enigma are your best options. For the Helmet, a Griffon's Eye or a shako, the Griffon will be a lot more damage intensive, even more if you add a Light Facet (5/5). For the Gloves, a pair of Magefist is a good option but the Frostburn in this build will bring a lot more impact. When it comes to your Belt, an Arachnid Mesh or Tal Rasha Fine-Spun Cloth. The Boots, you want to go for a Silkweave for more mana or a War Traveler for more Magic Find. The rings should be Stone of Jordan, all around best option unless you want to go for a Faster Cast Rate Ring with a good bit of mana and some Resistances. Amulet wise, a 2 skill 20 Faster Cast Rate Crafted Amulet or a Mara's Kaleidoscope.

For the Inventory, Fire Skill Charms and Lightning Skill Charms with Faster Hit Recovery or Life. Small Charms, you can go for Life/Mana Small Charms. You can also go with Resistances Small Charms with Magic Find or Faster Hit Recovery. A HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm are necessary and if possible with high stats.

For the Mercenary, an Infinity with Thresher base along with a Vampire Gaze or Andariel's Visage. Armor wise, an Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude.
