Frozen Orb Sorceress

The Frozen Orb Sorceress (Orb Sorc) is a versatile cold-damage build that fires a slow-moving orb of ice that releases piercing ice bolts as it travels. This build offers excellent mobility, easier targeting than Blizzard, and good area coverage. Frozen Orb is often used in hybrid builds due to its efficiency with fewer skill points. Start off by adding 1 skill points to the following skills: Glacial Spike, Teleport, Meteor, Fire Mastery, Ice Bast, Static Field, Warmth and Frozen Armor. Next you want to max out the following skills: Frozen Orb, Ice Bolt, Cold Mastery and Fireball.

When it comes to stats, you want to start with adding a HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Add Strength to get to wearing all your gear. When it comes to Dexterity and Energy put no points in it, not needed on this build. Next with Vitality, add the rest of the points there.

For the Weapon, you want to go with a Death Fathom's or a Heart of The Oak. Next for the Shield, you ll need a Spirit Monarch with 35% Faster Cast Rate. Armor wise, you ll need to go with a Chains of Honor or you can also go with an Enigma. For the Helmet, you can go with a Shako or also with a Nightwing's Veil. For the Gloves, Magefist or a Frostburn are good options. For the Belt you ll need an Arachnid Mesh or a Tal Rasha Fine-Spun Cloth.  When it comes to the Boots, you can go for a War Traveler for Magic Find or you can go with a WaterWalk or Sandstorm Trek for more Survivability. Rings wise you can go with Stone of Jordan or you can also go with Faster Cast Rate with Bonuses. For the Amulet, a Crafted Amulet 2 to skills and 20 Faster Cast Rate, you can also go with a Mara's Kaleidoscope.

For the Inventory, go with Cold Skill Charms, you should also add Small Charms with either Magic Find, Faster Hit Recovery and Life with Resistances. Also you should get a high stats HellFire Torch and an Annihilus.

For the Mercenary, get an Act 2 Mercenary with either Might Aura or Unholy Freeze Aura. Gear wise you want to give an Infinity with Thresher base, Helmet you get a Vampire Gaze or Andariel's Visage. The armor would be an Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude.
