Lightning Sorceress

The Lightning Sorceress (Light Sorc) is a pure lightning-based build that deals devastating electrical damage through Lightning, Chain Lightning, and Nova. This build offers some of the highest single-target damage in the game.  First start by putting 1 point into the following Skills: Nova, Static Field, Teleport, Frozen Armor, Warmth. Once that is done, max out the following skills: Lightning, Chain Lightning, Lightning Mastery and Charged Bolt. Remaining points should be put into Nova. You can also max out Nova instead of Charged Bolt.

For your Attributes, you should first start off with getting a HellFire Torch as well as an Annihilus Charm, put these in your inventory first. Once that is done, you can put Strength until you reach minimum for your gear. Second, do not put any points into Dexterity and no points into Energy as well. The rest of your points should go to Vitality, your gear will compensate for the mana.

Gear wise, we start off with Weapon, Best in Slot is Heart of The Oak but you can also put an Eschuta's Temper focused with 20% Lightning Damage and you can also add a Light Facet (5/5). Next we have the Helmet, best choice here is a Griffon's Eye with yet another Light Facet (5/5).  For the Shield, Spirit Monarch with 35% Faster Cast Rate. For the Armor, we go for a Chains of Honor or an Ormus with 15% Lightning Damage and 3 to Lightning Skill. Next the Gloves, here we got with a Magefist or a Trang Oul's for Faster Cast Rate and resistances in the case of Trang Oul's. Belt you ll want to put an Arachnid Mesh or a Tal Rasha Fine-Spun Cloth. Boots you will want to get a War Traveler for Magic Find or if you prefer a bit more Survivability you ll want a WaterWalk. Next the Rings, you ll want either Stone of Jordans or you can Mix in Faster Cast Rate Rings with Bonuses. The Mara's Kaleidoscope is another good choice due to its Skill bonus and Resistances. You can also opt for a Crafted Amulet with 2 To skills and 20 Faster Cast Rate.

Inventory wise, best to start with a high stats HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Add some Lightning Skill Charms with Faster Hit Recovery and also get some Small Charms, 7% Magic Find with some Resistance if you want to farm more efficiently or you can go with Life/Mana Small Charms or simply with Life/Resist Small Charms.

Next for the Merc, you should get an Holy Freeze Aura Merc with Infinity in a Thresher base and also Vampire Gaze or Andariel's Visage. Next you ll want an Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude. Do not Skip the Infinity as it is Crucial for this Build.
