Nova Sorceress
The Nova Sorceress is a unique lightning-based build that creates rings of lightning emanating from the character, dealing damage to all nearby enemies simultaneously. Unlike other sorceress builds that fight from range, the Nova Sorc gets up close and personal, using Energy Shield for defense while decimating everything around her. This build offers a distinctive "berserker mage" playstyle that's both exciting and challenging. First time is to assign 1 skill points to each of these skills: Static Field, Warmth, Teleport, Frozen Armor. Next we will assign about 15-17 skill points to each of these: Telekinesis and Energy Shield. Next you max out the following skills: Nova, Lightning Mastery, Lightning Bolt, Charged Bolt.
Attributes wise, you want to go with getting a HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. First is to go with Strength, you want to put as many as needed to wear your gear. Next you want to put 0 point into Dexterity. Put about 200 ish points into Vitality and the rest into Energy to maximize mana for your Energy Shield.
The best Weapon for this build is Infinity with a Scythe as base. This takes up your Weapon and Shield Spot but allows you to always remove the Lightning Immunity from your enemies. You can also go with a Heart of The Oak or an Eschuta's Temper with 20% Lighting Damage. For your shield, if you don't get an Infinity you will want to get a Spirit Monarch with 35% Faster Cast Rate and 112 Mana. Next for your Helmet we are going with a Griffon's Eye with a Light Facet (5/5). For your Armor we have a few options, first you can put a Chains of Honor or an Ormus with 15% Lightning Damage and 3 to Nova. Glove wise you want to get a Frostburn so you can Maximize Mana for your Energy Shield. For the Belt, you want to get an Arachnid Mesh or a Tal Rasha Fine-Spun Cloth. You can also get a Silkweave to once again maximize your mana. Rings you probably should go for 2 Stone of Jordan or invest into Faster Cast Ring with mana and Resistances. Amulet you want to go with a Crafted Amulet with 2 to skills and 20 Faster Cast Rate.
Inventory wise, you want to go first of all with a high stats HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Also going with a few Lightning Skiller Charms as well as Life/Mana Small Charms. You can also go with 7% Magic Find Small Charms with Resistances.
Get yourself a Mercenary from Act 2, Usually want to go with Might Aura or Unholy Freeze Aura. The gear you will want to get Reaper's Toll, you can also get an Infinity Thresher if you decide to go with another Weapon + Shield on your character. Helmet wise you ll need a Vampire Gaze or Andariel's Visage. Armor wise, you ll want an Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude.
