Bear Sorceress

The Werebear Sorceress is an extremely unique and unconventional build that uses the Beast runeword to grant Werebear transformation to a Sorceress. This creates a hybrid melee fighter that combines the defensive benefits of bear form with Sorceress skills like Enchant and Energy Shield. While expensive and challenging, it offers one of the most distinctive playstyles in the game - a tanky melee sorceress with massive life and defensive capabilities. First, put 1 skill into the following skills: Warmth, Fire Bolt, Teleport, Frozen Armor, Frozen Orb, Cold Mastery and Ice Bolt. Make sure to max the following skills to optimize damage output and survivability: Enchant, Fire Mastery, Energy Shield and Telekinesis. If you have  remaining points, you can put them in Frozen Orb.

When it comes to Attributes, first grab a HellFire Torch and an Annihilus, then make sure to add enough Strength so you can wear all your gear. Put a fair amount of points into Energy, maybe 30-50 points. Dexterity doesn't need any points as it doesn't benefit this build that much. Put the rest into Vitality as the Bear form maximizes survivability.

For the gear, Weapon wise, you have no choice but to go for a Beast Runeword, preferably in a Berserker Axe. When it comes to your Shield, Phoenix Runeword is your best option for damage output or Stormshield for survivability. For your Armor, go for a Fortitude Runeword, it will give you more damage and Resistances. The best Helmet, Crown of Ages, it will give you survivability and also 2 sockets for Jewels.  Get a pair of Dracul's Grasp for Life Leech or Steelrend for more Damage. The Belt is usually a Verdungo's Hearty Cord for survivability. Gore Rider for Boots or you can go for a Sandstorm Trek. Rings, you can be creative, Raven Frost, Bul-Khatos' or a Rare Ring with Life Leech and other bonuses. Highlord's Wrath for Amulet.Inventory you ll want to go for Max Damage Small Charms with Life or go for Fire Skill Charms to give Enchant a boost. Annihilus Charm and HellFire Torch are a must, try to get as high stats as possible. You can also add a few Small Charms with Life, Resist and Attack Rating. You can also for Faster Run/Walk Small Charms with Max Damage or Faster Hit Recovery.

Mercenary wise, do get an Act 2 Offensive Mercenary, it will have the Might Aura that will boost damage output. Make sure to give him a Vampire Gaze or an Andariel's Visage. Weapon wise you can go for an Insight in a Thresher Base, your Energy Shield will make it very useful to have Meditation. Armor wise, an Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude Runeword.Note the Bear Form gives you the following Bonuses.
