Frost Nova Sorceress

The Frost Nova Sorceress is a unique cold-based build that creates expanding rings of freezing damage around the character, similar to Lightning Nova but with cold damage and chilling effects. This "ice berserker" build requires getting up close to enemies and unleashing freezing devastation while relying on Energy Shield for survival. The build offers excellent crowd control through freezing and slowing effects, making it safer than Lightning Nova but with different tactical considerations. First start with adding 1 skill point to the following skills: Frozen Armor, Warmth, Static Field and Teleport. Next add 17 points to Telekinesis and Energy Shield. Next you max out the following skills: Frost Nova, Ice Bolt, Cold Mastery, Glacial Spike and Ice Blast.

For your Attributes, add Strength as much as needed to wear your gear. No Dexterity and about 100 points into Energy. The rest goes into Vitality.

Weapons you should use Death Fathom's, Eschuta's Temper or Heart of the Oak. Next Shield, you go for a Spirit Monarch. Armor, you want to go for a Ormus's Robe or a Chains of Honor. Your Helmet, you should get a Shako or a Rare Circlet with 2 skills and 20 Faster Cast Rate.  Glove should be either a Frostburn or a Magefist, you could also go for a Trang Oul's Claws. Belt, you ll need an Arachnid Mesh or a Tal Rasha's Fine-Spun Cloth. For Boots, you want to go for a Silkweave or a WaterWalk. Next for the Rings you ll want Stone of Jordan or Rare Rings with Faster Cast Rate and bonuses. Amulet, a Mara's Kaleidoscope or a Crafted Amulet with 2 skill and 20 Faster Cast Rate.

Inventory you ll want to get a HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Also you ll want Cold Skill Charms with either Faster Hit Recovery or Life. Small Charms with Resistances and Life, Faster Hit Recovery or Magic Find.

Get an Act 2 Mercenary with Holy Freeze Aura, equip him with a Vampire Gaze or an Andariel's Visage. Weapon wise, you want an Infinity with a Thresher base. An Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude for his Armor.
