Jab Fend Amazon
The Jab Fend Build is a very niche build but it is one of those really interesting, Fun and affordable build, a lot of the gear can be reused afterwards for a more typical build. First when it comes to skills, add 1 point to the following: Impale, Inner Sight, Slow Missiles, Decoy, Dodge, Avoid and Evade. When those are added, max out the following Skills: Jab, Fend, Critical Strike, Penetrate and if any points remain add them in Valkyrie.
When it comes to Attributes, make sure to start off with getting a HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Put those in your inventory and then add enough Strength so you can wear your gear, next add enough Dexterity to hit Max Block (75% Block). Add no points in Energy and the rest into Vitality.
Weapon wise, you want to go for Infinity Runeword or Obedience in a Thresher base, You can also go for a Rare Javelin with High Damage output. Shield, you will need a Stormshield, you can also go for other options like Spirit Monarch or a Rare Shield. For Armor, Fortitude is the best option, Dusk Shroud is a low Strength base that usually works well for Amazon. For the Helmet a Guillaume's Face or Vampire Gaze tend to be good options, you can also go for a Crown of Ages for Resistance and Reduced Damage. When it comes to the Gloves, Steelrend for added damage or a Rare Glove for 2 skills, Increased Attack Speed and other bonuses. Belt wise you can go for a Verdungo's Hearty Cord as it adds a ton of Survivability. For the Boots get a Gore Rider or a Rare Boots with 30% Faster Run/Walk. You can also get a War Traveler if you want extra Magic Find. Ring wise, you want Rare Rings with Leech or a Raven Frost preferably with 20 Dexterity. You can also play around with Manald or a Bul-Khatos. For the Amulet, Highlord's Wrath or a Cat's Eye are your best options.
The inventory can be filled with charms, the best option being Javelin Skill Charms with either 12% Faster Hit Recovery, 7% Faster Run/Walk or Life. Also can go with Melee charms, 3 Max/xx Attack Rating/Life. Make sure to have a high stats HellFire Torch and an Annihilus Charm. Small charms with Life and Resistances are also great for Survivbility.
An Act 2 Mercenary is your best option, geared with an Insight or a Reapers' Toll, an Andariel's Visage or Vampire Gaze. The armor, the Ethereal Archon Plate Fortitude. Best to go with a Might or Holy Freeze Aura Merc depending on your preference.
